About the trainer

My name is Rose and I am based in South Wales.

I have been working with dogs since 2016 throughout a variety of roles including daycare, walking, scent work and my favourite of all, Mantrailing!

Eight years ago I was introduced to The Kocher Method of Mantrailing, this led me to the INBTI and whole host of wonderful instructors.

After many years of hard work and fantastic mentoring by said instructors, I am proud to be the first INBTI Assistant Instructor in the UK.

I have now been practising and teaching Mantrailing for 7 years with my three Spaniels.

I am fascinated by canine body language, it goes hand in hand with canine olfactory and I love nothing more than watching a dog problem solve with their amazing nose!

I have been lucky enough to work with 100’s of fantastic dog teams, each dog I meet teaches me something new and I love sharing this knowledge during workshops and seminars.

About the venue

Parc Dewi Sant, Carmarthen, SA31 3HG

Parc Dewi Sant was originally built in 1865 as the Carmarthenshire, Cardigan and Pembrokeshire County Asylum, a large mental hospital. It later became part of the NHS as St David’s Hospital in Carmarthen before closing in the early 2000s after patient numbers dropped and standards were criticized. The site is now being redeveloped into a health and well-being business park called Parc Dewi Sant with quiet grounds, perfect for Mantrailing!
